I would have to say £15 for adults, maybe a little unrealistic given our overheads, but surely it would be better to fill the stadium but charge a little less for the privelage. We need to maintain the fan base in the run up to Falmer, particularly important if the quality of football isn't the best, charge a little less and keep the fans happy as the club should reap the benefit in the long run.

I agree..............is it time for Dick to reduce prices for less attractive games (eerrrrrr thats most of them in this Div!!!) and test the water to see if attendances respond and more people are tempted to go!, yes i know it depends on the success of the team as well but surely if prices were reduced it would be noticable or not!

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
The prices reflect what our overheads are, its that simple.

However no one would object to kids getting in free with a paying adult to fill the ever growing amount of empty seats.

Don't get me wrong...i agree but the product the club is selling at the moment 'aint worth the money! (not my opinion but reflected in the falling attendances)

1) sitting in all weather
2)watching a team on a bad run
3)In a shit division
4) No star players Blah Blah Blah

so is a price reduction the answer.......................or do we ride the storm and hope for success in the near future. Loyal fans can spout all they like about "fans supporting the club, through thick or thin" but the fact is attendances are falling at an allarming rate and we as a club need to attract back the floating fan. I must admit i would attend more games if the price was reduced to say £15 cos i cannot afford the present prices too often!

I will be brutally honest, I would probably try to get to a few home games (as opposed to my seasons average of 6-8 away) if the price was a little lower, for me a trip to Withdean involves a round trip of almost 300 miles and the cost of fuel is definitely a factor in that.

Well I get my rail ticket from HH included which is probably worth a fiver so I probably am only paying roughly £15 for my match ticket.

Should season ticket holders who live, like my brother, near Heathrow Airport have to pay the same price as somebody who lives in Brighton? Part of the season ticket includes free travel which he is never able to use due to work etc.

Before you all start about parking he meets me en route and my wife drops us off and goes shopping and then picks us up after the game and then takes him back to his car which he parks near The Castle Hickstead.

For me it is all about price against atmosphere.

Maybe we should put the singing section under the roof in the northstand or is there too much common sense involved there - create a atmosphere lift the players lift the supporters win a few games therefore lifting the attendances.

I think i will plump for £18 although conditions of stadium etc would really only be up to £15 but i really don't think we can drop that low.

All STH should get some sort of vouchers for compensation spread out over a few seasons as not to hurt the club and to benefit the STH.

Give the singers the roof Campaign starts here right now!

Average home game for Leeds for me is about £90. For that pile of $hit as well.

I normally park outside the folks' house and walk down. I don't mind paying the extra for the travel voucher, as the club could not do it any other way. It would lead to fare dodging if it was an optional extra.....

withdean costs the same as watching Croatia vs England, apart from the £250 flights :lolol:

I am not disagreeing just stating a view on costs as that appears to be the main crux as to why the crowds are low. I personally would pay whatever to see my team all the time I can afford it, and meet the problem again should it arise that I couldn't.

Taking into account other forms of entertainment etc I do not consider the entrance fee to be exhorbitant, much the same as going to a show. If we had a personality in the side who gave us a bit of magic the problem wouldn't arise.

However, you could probably count all those who voted:

Stupid Poll we need all the money we can get!!

...as agreeing that the price should be what it is.

bloody con at the moment. 25 odd quid to watch crap 3rd div football. Even in a nice stadium it would be too expensive let alone Withdean. Think if they lowered the price would be get back a fair few of the lost fans
