Morning,

The second episode of Football, the Albion and Me is now out - this time with Tommy Elphick, who's great on his time at the Albion, underestimating the chaos at Aston Villa and the potential financial impact of coronavirus on football - plus loads more...including picking blackberries for Mark McGhee...

Would hugely appreciate the feedback, a share, and a listen!

You can also catch up on episode 1, with Garry Nelson.

Thanks in advance - it's a competitive market out there so I appreciate the support.

Only listened to the first 16 minutes so far, really good, well done mate. Will do a podcast review when I've finished.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first episode and will definitely be joining my list of go to pods for exercise/commuting.

Liked your interview style, lots of just letting the interviewee talk which is what I prefer.

Cheers for starting it!

Ah thanks - I really appreciate that. Loads of great guests coming up - banging the same drum but as much everyone can share this, the better! Thanks in advance.

Morning all,

This week's Football, the Albion and Me podcast is with Bob Booker, who as you'll guess was incredibly good value. A bit of a different one as we talk in depth about his playing career before his time as an assistant at Albion, some brilliant stories.

Please do subscribe, listen and share on social channels: https://twitter.com/FootyAlbionMe/status/1260472643217756160?s=20

Many thanks,
Richard

Listened to all 4 and whilst they are all worth a listen the Bob Booker one is cracking. Had forgotten he's married to Nicky Whatsherface from southern sound and had no idea he is now a driving instructor. Came across as a real down to earth guy and confirmed that the team we had back then were just a bunch of animals. The story about Peter Taylor and the Friday training session is great.

Thanks for the feedback! Please do keep it coming and share where you can...you'll all know how congested the podcast market is, so while audience numbers have been incredibly encouraging, every bit of help is invaluable (and thank you so far to those who have).

The next podcast is out today with Stuart Storer, who talks honestly about the atmosphere on the training field when the bonkers final season at the Goldstone was going on...yes, it's a story told before but you really do get a sense of the anger the players felt and how it brought them closer to the fans.
