The Large One
Who's Next?
Arena Civica, Milan. Original home of Inter before they moved to San Siro.
It has supermarket at one end. This would be the dreary urban equivalent of a mountain then.
It has a f***ing dreadful "nightclub" in the main stand, which looks 50 years old.
It has a truly stand at one end that looks like a barn.
Quirky or utter wank? You decide.
This thread is like porn for me. I LOVE stadiums/Stadia
bushy has been there. Dear oh DEAR oh DEAR.That nightclub always makes me chuckle when I see it. Is it still in business?
Having just looked it up, it appears to be called Crystals, which is the sort of horrific name that discos were called in the early 1980s (see also Illusions, Reflections etc). I can't imagine anyone actually going in apart from local Del Boy types who still order Pina Coladas to impress the ladies in 2012.
That's the hanging gardens of Babylon isn't it?This looks just a small bit flair. Bordeaux's new planned stadium.

Imagine the sustainable transport application for THAT!
one of the few stadiums where you could say that the stewards are LITERALLY nazi's
Singapore, Marina Bay. Made entirely of steel, the floating platform measures 390 feet long and 270 feet wide. It can bear up to 1,070 tonnes, equivalent to the total weight of 9,000 people, 200 tonnes of stage props and three 30-tonne military vehicles. The gallery at the stadium has a seating capacity of 30,000 people.
