Latest is a post saying Reading are buying Bridcutt for a cut price £2m as we are in financial trouble and need the money.

Probably the usual Palace no mark who constantly posts about us being in 'financial difficulty' on that site. He usually then states we selling Bridcutt to palace. Obviously varied it this time.

Reckon the post won't last long.

There is no way in hell they'd let Austin go for £3.7m
Why the monkeys would we want another goalkeeper?

At least make the bollocks up about a left back

Sounds like QPR got him for 2m on a 3 year deal. Wonder if we went after him? Bargain price if true.

Man city accept loan for John Gudietti to Brighton, his response is rumoured to be out by Wednesday.

Would be nice if there was any chance this rumour could be true scored 20 goals in 23 appearances for Feyenoord

Sadly, being on that site makes this rather unlikely, but (assuming Guidetti has recovered from the illness which wrote off last season for him) he would be a SUPERB signing at this level.

Bit like the Jose Antonio Reyes rumour below it

Well, that's the chance of signing him well and truly killed off then

Diego Castro is the new name.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Castro

Plausible I suppose.

OP here: Not Reyes, out of our budget from what I have heard (which, btw isn't as bad as what some fans may think it is, and especially the previous manager bloke. We've taken a more cautioned approach to signing players due to flops such as Harley and Dobbie who were on fairly high wages between 9-12k p/w)

I'm at work tomorrow so if I bump into him on the commute. I'll dig a little deeper.

I only said Leeds maybe interested, but as you said. They're a mess; Derby maybe in contention given their budget is similar to Brighton's.

I do believe it's Diego Castro, but he's 31. Has a decent goal scoring record.

I'll update this further on my lunch break.

I like the look of Castro. We do need another winger. Buckley, Lua Lua are not enough. We do also have March, but we can't rely on him yet.
