Rugby is the only sport I cannot stand and therefore do not follow. It just seems totally illogical and a waste of everybody’s time.

Football is the perfect sport so obviously I’ll take that.

I was never bothered about rugby until my lad started playing, aged about 6. Since I’ve watched a lot of live rugby, and can kind of appreciate it, but unless my lad is playing I’ve genuinely little interest in the result.

Cricket I think I could enjoy more. But only in a nice day, read the paper, was that a wicket, sort of way.

Cricket, the perfect game, available in lots of different formats and unlike football not dominated by money (for the moment IPL may well change things).

Cricket in the summer, football in the winter (with a bit of 6 nations rugby thrown in for good measure).

What would you choose ?

I’ve enjoyed this test match and enjoy my rugby but it’s a big football for me.

College American Football/BHA/EFL are the leagues/team I can watch all day long.

I find many EFL games much more compelling than many EPL games, don’t know why.

There’s a guy from Portland, Oregon that has been to 69 English soccer grounds and writes all about the club history, places to eat and history of the area. I love reading his stuff when watching some,of the smaller clubs play.

Exactly MCG, you may vote Trump but we both know that football and gridiron are the only sports worth watching. Life is too short to waste time on rugby or cricket.

Agree! FTR though I don’t and won’t vote for Trump (Not voting for Biden either). I’m just naturally a contrarian, sometimes to a fault. What I need to do is stay out of political threads because I usually come in hot for no reason at all and usually over a topic that’s not all that important to me. Apologies for my comment the other evening.

My goal on here is to interact with people that love a team I’ve grown to love and to convince everybody that they should also live and breath University of a Georgia football like me! :D

Love all three, but as a tribal watching experience, club football, in non-covid times, beats the other two as a regular addition to your winter schedules.

However, as a short post new year interlude, 6 nations international games will not be beaten for passion and intensity.... and pre and post match boozing.
