Boothroyd, Hughes, Keane, Tilson. It's a shame what seems to have happened to Phil Parkinson, he was great at Colchester, all gone a bit tits up since he left.

O'Neil is quality at Villa
Used to rate sam allardyce until some friends inside premiership clubs told some stories about how dodgy he is. Ditto Redknapp:lolol:

my alltime favourite though:

OH RONNIE MOORE

did exactly what adams did for us, but didnt walk out halfway through. would always come into the executive lounge after the game, win loose or draw, shake hands and talk to people for a good half hour at a time. add in the fact he is a bloody good manager as well

Also agree with Boothroyd. It was obvious that Watford weren't good enough and didn't have the spending power to stay up, but at least he would admit that that fact alone doesn't condone how badly they played at times. This makes it even more annoying when you get people like Steve Bruce (who quite obviously DOES have the spending power) moaning and making excuses just a year earlier.

He gives the appearance of being complete and utter shite, is about as scary as a stuffed teddy, and yet he actually has one of the best records of any of our managers, despite coming dangerously close to some nasty results.

I'd still replace him in the morning if I could, but that wasn't the question :lolol:

A few names in this thread that I had either forgotten or overlooked. A notable mention should go to Wim Janssen who, in the same season that Hearts won the Scottish Cup under Jefferies, had Celtic playing some of the most beautiful and exciting football that it has ever been my privelage to watch. The Celtic board must have been on drugs because they drove him out of the club and it took them years to recover.

I hate Keane with a passion (world cup destroyer to me), but Håland retired due to an injury to his other knee.

He may well have done i just really hate him for the intent and admitting it and getting away with it.
