The next round of letting us know the next round of live TV matches was to be today.

Now the Football League (not calling them the EFL) have told us they won't let us know today. iIn fact, they claim they never intended to let us know today...

To be fair there is an asterix indicating these are guideline dates and they can slip. Not helpful I know, but just pointing that out.

So they make a big deal of how they are going to be fairer to fans and announce someway in advance, announce very formally when that date will be, all good so far, and then don't ****ing deliver on it.

Complete joke.

The EFL sponsored by Southern Trains.....one way or another between us we'll make sure you don't get to games.

Yup, I see that. But their tweet in the middle of that discourse stated "...we've not changed anything as we have never announced a date". In which case, why mention July 8 at all?

It has certainly been taken across many clubs' local press that July 8 was listed as the announcement date. Now they're saying they have never announced a date...

Quite. "We won't tell you when the games are changing, and the trains won't be able to get you there anyway...".

A perfect storm of bellendery.

Why are certain organisations just totally incompetent? From the FA to the football league to the train people, I genuinely think there are people on this site that could run all three better.

I don't understand why they can't release them. Premier League (as always prioritised) were released yesterday. Want to sort Newcastle out but no idea when it will be played (although I doubt it will be 3pm on Saturday). Yet again the Football League and Sky put fans at the bottom of their priority list.

Something tells me Mr. Murdoch has something to do with this and not FL or EFL or whatever they are

I am not sure Murdoch is bothered about which Championship fixtures are shown. It is Sky's fault (not the EFL as they seem to want to be called) but it's the way they put that date out there and then deny ever mentioning while completely ignoring the issues fans face that is annoying.
