Yup, I see that. But their tweet in the middle of that discourse stated "...we've not changed anything as we have never announced a date". In which case, why mention July 8 at all?

It has certainly been taken across many clubs' local press that July 8 was listed as the announcement date. Now they're saying they have never announced a date...

Why are certain organisations just totally incompetent? From the FA to the football league to the train people, I genuinely think there are people on this site that could run all three better.

I don't understand why they can't release them. Premier League (as always prioritised) were released yesterday. Want to sort Newcastle out but no idea when it will be played (although I doubt it will be 3pm on Saturday). Yet again the Football League and Sky put fans at the bottom of their priority list.

I am not sure Murdoch is bothered about which Championship fixtures are shown. It is Sky's fault (not the EFL as they seem to want to be called) but it's the way they put that date out there and then deny ever mentioning while completely ignoring the issues fans face that is annoying.

Hang on, why in the hell can't they work out the fixture lists, communicate with the clubs about a TV schedule and then release the fixtures with the first months TV games already chosen?

How is this so f**king complicated every season? All I want to do is know when I can book a bloody train!
