I found this on the Football League website so you were right.

Outstanding Managerial Achievement (voted for by Football Manager website users)
Gus Poyet - Brighton & Hove Albion (for winning the npower League 1 title)
Dougie Freedman - Crystal Palace (for beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Carling Cup)
Lee Clark - Huddersfield Town (for setting a new League record for unbeaten matches)

Freedman's seems a bit pathetic in comparison really doesn't it?

Mark Bright sounds particularly disappointed with this on Twitter :lolol:

Mark__Bright: Football manager outstanding achievement Football_league #FootballLeagueAwards Gus Poyet #BHAFC only time he's beat Dougie this season.

Strong words there from Ian Wright's bag carrier.

Looking at Palace fans on Twitter moaning that they havent won anything (yet) is a great way to spend a Sunday night. One even said that Peter Whittingham of Cardiff winning goal of the year was a "fix" - just bitter really

"Best quote from Gus. His son Diego who plays for Eng's youth 'would die for his country..' #bhafc"

Also retweeted by Diego Poyet

Meanwhile Zaha says at FL Awards not sure whether to play for England or Ivory Coast

FL Awards 2012: Hartlepool United win Best Marketing Campaign Award.

Now it's funny- you'd have thought Palace were a shoe-in for that, for their very successful Groupon Buy One Get Six Free ticket campaign.

Tough call.

What has Dougie achieved in his managerial career?

Nothing. Not forgetting they are mid-table too.
