To be fair, he did talk about the duty of care to players when it comes to letting them go to chase league titles and European trophies.

But there was a little moment there where he was just about to say the word 'fan'.

Biggest mistake was not giving him what he wanted and seeing him go to Palace, but at least we got it right at the end.
