[Football] Football boot repairs

scooter1

How soon is now?
Does anyone know of anybody that can repair football boots in the Brighton/Sussex area?
The sole and leather are coming apart on the instep, but the boots are so comfortable I’d prefer to get them repaired than replace.
Are there any repair experts out there, as I’m not sure I want to take the affected boot to Timpsons….
cheers

You could try giving Brogues in Baker Street a ring. They specialise in shoe repairs (sole, stitching etc) and get very good reviews
Chap took a pair of shoes in there that were a wee bit too tight.

Assistant: “Try them with the tongue out.”
Customer: “Thill too thite.”

replace, supersede, supplant refer to putting one thing or person in place of another. To replace is to take the place of, to succeed: Ms. Jones will replace Mr. Smith as president. supersede implies that that which is replacing another is an improvement: The word processor superseded the typewriter.

I know, I know, what's a word processor?

Have you thought of superseding your football boots?

Any proper old fashioned shoe repair business should be able to help But they are getting harder to find.

I had a pair of boots repaired at Peter May and Grandson in Worthing a few years ago but they closed down late last year.

I’m a football boot collector. I’ve just bought these with a little bit of damage, and want them repaired so I can use them without(hopefully) making them worse.
