Sometimes greed is good

Last season, in the semis of the League Cup, Spurs were leading Burnley 4-0 from the first leg, and Burnley were 66/1 to win the second leg 4-0. I didn't do it, but did them to progess at about 25/1! Soppy twat! If they were to progess, they'd have to score at least 4 goals! They duly won 4-0 over 90 minutes and then conceded two late in extra time

Quite right. And never be greedy.

I have been doing THREE banker bets and then trying to rollover the winnings onto the next three bankers and so on until I lose or bottle it and take the winnings.
This week I've been GREEDY and gone for FIVE games to get the better odds.
It'll all end in tears when one lets me down.

Another good story about never changing your mind was when once when I went to the dogs with a mate and he came back from the tote and was pissed off when he noticed he'd been given the wrong ticket on some 4/1 outsider.

I offered to buy it off him for a fiver, half face value.
He reinvested a tenner on the favourite, his original choice.
Guess which dog won ?
Still moaning he is.

This was a £2 bet and paid £5.48 which went on Forest, Rochdale and Bournemouth on Monday, and, thanks to the Cherries 95th minute winner, that paid £25.74.

I've just rolled the lot over onto Saints to beat Luton, Sunderland to beat Barrow and Fulham to beat Swindon in the Cup on Saturday

I'll have one ear on the radio at Plainmoor on Saturday.
