Ex-football coach Barry Bennell has been found guilty of multiple sex offences against boys in the 1980s.

Bennell, 64, was convicted of 36 charges including indecent assault and serious sexual assaults against boys aged eight to 15.

The jury, which deliberated for four days, was unable to reach verdicts on seven counts.

He denied 48 offences and the Liverpool Crown Court judge directed jurors to enter three not guilty verdicts.

Nassar was first sentenced to 60 years in a federal jail in July 2017 after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
He was then sentenced to 40 to 175 years behind bars after admitting seven counts of sexual assault of minors in January.
At a final hearing last week, Nassar received an additional 40 to 125-year sentence for three additional counts of sexual assault.

What I cant grasp, is that with over 100 victims who are now big strapping men, not one of them went to his house in later years and smashed him in the face.

I've often thought the same.

No slight on the victims, as perhaps he still has a psychological control over them, from the age/strength advantage he had at the time he abused them.

Looking forward, he won't be laughing in prison, always nervous of that next punch or worse.

That little act might just have made his life somewhat precarious when he gets back to prison.

Referring to Bennell, not the other one, if he was the one who laughed.
