Also Fish & Chips/Chicken & Chips crisps....we used to have them in our school tuck shop. Lovely.

I used to like the various sugar overdoses occasionally taped to the covers of issues of the Beano and Dandy. I think they were made by a company near the publishers.

Also, I used to collect Garbage Pail Kids cards in the 80s which came with a stodgy strip of barely chewable pink gum. I think I was the only person who actually liked the gum.

Anyone else remember Golden Cup ? A smallish bar of chocolate containing a filling of very soft runny toffee ?

Space dust - that stuff that crackles like mad in your mouth!! Sometimes we would empty a few packets in and see how long you could kept it going for!!! Every now and again you'd get an almighty explosion and it would hit the back of your throat!!! You can still get it in the retro sweet shops and on the internet.

Great fun and good practice for later life -
It was great when we gave it to the dog :)

I do - I don't know if you can still get that one, but there are loads of choc/caramel type things these days. Good job too, caramel is one of the best-est flavours possible.

I am seeking the help of NSC. I am racking my brains and seemingly no-one else knows what i am referring to. Que the perfectly timed NSC thread.

To describe, it was a chocolae bar (pretty sure it was cadburys) that was the length of a pen and about 1cm x 1cm square looking end on.

It was hollow through the middle except for a cross running through it to give a window effect in a cross section.

Please help.
