The foodlights r on !!! Why would I lie ??

The floodlights ARE on, and I am told you can (just) see the full length of the pitch. In fact if you can see the far goal from my folks' house, that's a good 150m.

Stop being a prick.

Some of us have to rely on this site for info - I'm about to leave work to drive 70 miles down there.

If it helps, the weather forecast suggested the fog will start to clear this evening as the wind comes in.

If it were at the AMEX, it wouldn't be on (16:00 shot today). It does seem to suffer quite badly from fog up there compared to elsewhere.

In a perfect world the fog would be just thick enough to allow the game to be played but to prevent the Charlton fans from seeing diddlysquat - would be just fantastic after the prattish attitude of a few of their fans posting on here in the last day or so (fataddick excepted of course)

As long as the ref can see both goals from either side of the pitch then it should be ok. I don't the ref would be arsed to walk another 21.36 miles to see what it looks like from the away end

That would be great, although I am in W so I hope that the fog sorts itself out just right. :albion1:

I drove past the Amex on the way to work at 8am and could not even see it from the road !! I went that way just see the old girl. On a seperate note we could steal the Charlton song for Falmer except instead of the mist rolling in from the thames it could be "with the mist rolling in from the Downs Falmer my home !!!"
