I tried that link last time the BBC had something about Falmer, and the NIMBYs' site hasn't been updated for about 5 years.

In their parallel universe, we are still a struggling 3rd Division club with no hope, the West Pier is crumbling but still structurally intact, and Osama Bin Laden can still take an afternoon stroll around Central Park unchallenged.

Not true Edna. And they don't think much of this fiendish 'publicity stunt' you have devised.

I would not read to much into the "Autumn" comment as that report also says: "It follows a local planning inspector's report which advised the city council not to back the scheme". We know that is incorrect.

Oh right, well the link I saw a few weeks back was definitely out of date. Perhaps it's a different site.

Or perhaps we've got them on the run, and they're now so desperately worried, they've had to update it!

"fiendish publicity stunt"
:lolol:

I absolutely, 100% agree with them, how else could it possibly be construed! Nothing like missing the point, eh? They are probably gutted that their withered, ageing "during the war" brains haven't managed to come up with anything as eye catching as any of our campaigns.

They are like characters out of the League of Gentlemen.

I guess that this comment may have been 'toungue in cheek' but Autumn is not the same as Easter.

If we have to wait until Autumn, I think I'll die with anticipation

I'm suprised they didn't think of it themselves given all the adverts for florists they have on their site. :lolol:

Some nice shots of the Reebok Stadium too, shame our ground won't be as big as that.

True, but then there probably aren't enough of them to have made any impact.

I'm surprised they haven't produced a Rylstone WI style naked calendar, full of grannies and crusty old colonel types in the buff.

and on the BBC lunchtime news. My son just called me at work to say that they had just shown an interview with some dipstick called Simon Sebbage (Pethicks Haircut to those that don't know him as Simon).

Well done Simon (at least I assume you did well as I didn't see it)
