The one time he's started in the wide left position was against Palace, and it wasn't too pretty, either for him, or for Izquierdo, who started on the right.
that Iz goal and Locadia assist was very pretty i thought.

I agree, and hadn't forgotten it when I typed it, but I would add:
-- that happened when Iz had vacated the right; I don't remember him doing anything of note there
-- there were big problems defensively; Schelotto seems to have copped most of the crap for that, but I don't think the personnel of the two wide players and the positions they started in exactly pleased CH (he hauled Locadia off at ht, and I don't think Iz has started, or even played, on the right since).
yep. defensively he was a nightmare and presumably why he was removed at HT (i've never seen Hughton do that before or since!!)
or no Locadia
You could add that for someone who is as big as him he could learn to head a ball
Andone fit enough to be on the bench Friday but not good enough to get any minutes
It kind of worries me that CH prefers Locadia over him
Andone was close to the same fee when we tried to sign him in JanuaryLocadia at £15m is three time better.

Andone is just back from injury. Locadia did alright when he came on Friday and is obviously doing well in training. I wouldn't be worried yet. Andone will get his chance.
I hope so and soon as Locadia has not shown enough to play if Murray got injured IMHO
One of the few encouraging aspects of today. His all-round game -- pace, running, workrate, hold-up strength -- is really good, the key questions relate to his positioning in the penalty area, and finishing.
