Brighton / Hove actually
If he comes back here it will be for the right reasons and with a renewed understanding with Potter.

Let's not forget that the Prem is the best league in the world so unless another Prem outfit shows an interest in purchasing him off us we are his only opportunity to play in it.

He certainly stuffed us and his team mates getting the red card at such an important time of the season, but we have gained the points and Connolly since.

On the basis of the quality of his goal and he wanted to return, I would rather take him back than look for another striker in January.

Some sort of undertaking (which wouldn’t have to be public) that he’s going to do more to find ways to control his anger would be a pre-requisite. But as has been said before dozens of times, he’s not the first player to ever get sent off for a bad foul. I think plenty are looking at this in quite a binary way of Andone = bad. Rest of squad = good

Quite possible though that GP has already made up his mind he doesn’t want him and quite possible we’re quite advanced with other targets or that we’ve decided what we have up front is enough. Though whilst he holds a long term contract with us, I don’t think we can say with any certainty that he definitely isn’t coming back.

Cannot see us making any profit if he goes to a Turkish club

On the transfer fee we paid? I'd be amazed of we didn't.

Think we paid £5 to £6 million, Turkish clubs are not awash with spare cash

Yes, I think it's very likely that we have recall options on all our loanees - the young ones anyway. Not so sure about the likes of Knocky though. But I don't think we'll trigger them in January - the only circumstances where we would is if a player isn't getting the game time we hoped for - Mlakar at QPR for instance - and then putting them out for a half season somewhere else.
Agree about Taylor Richards - same probably applies to Gyokeres too, and Molumbey when he returns. Happy days!

Could potentially see us bringing White back if Webster’s injury is going to mean a long time out, especially if we ship Balogun out in January too.

I'd love that, just to see the Leeds reaction. Especially if it helped to derail their season.

We were also linked with that Kiddy from Preston a while ago. Having said that, recalling White makes more sense if we get bad news on Webster.

In either case, getting rid of Duffy is quite rightly not being talked about any more

Potentially losing their keeper for a maximum of 12 games might just nudge them off the rails.

Not until the summer, no. As basically a bench-warmer under Potter, I think he will go then.

Is this the same player who gave a solid defensive display and scored a decent goal on Saturday? I suspect Duffy has an important part to play still. It's a squad game. And I suspect that not having to make painful last ditch interceptions five times a game, and getting caught on the ball owing to a massively ponderous faffing style (I accept it is still a bit ponderous at the back but not like it was under CH) may well appeal to the man.

Add to that that he’s unlikely to be warming the bench for at least a month....

Yes, he's the same player who played (very well) on Saturday and will be an important member of our squad this season.
