I can't remember much about him from that game TBH (age, no doubt) but I think we need him to be more than quite impressive against Barnet if he's going to play in the PL.

I'm with you all the way on this. This is one of the things that really excites me about the prospect of Andone signing, it means that we'll have more money to spend elsewhere. There's no direct correspondence between the cost of a player and how well they perform for us, but it's by no means the worst guide.
Provided we have the same goalkeepers and there are no unexpected outgoings, I think we'll need: RB and/or LB, CB, CM, ACM, wide forward/winger, two strikers. We should be able to pick up a CB for a decent price (Craig Dawson looks a good option to me, HGP too) and, if we get Andone for £5-6m, then we'll have plenty to spend elsewhere.
