It's quite a big place - care to narrow it down a bit as to where in Florida?

Also, how many people for?

We rented a great 4 bed place in Davenport with a pool etc.

Short drive to all of the parks.

Good supermarkets and restaurants.

Rented several, really need to do your research on location etc relative to what you want. Sites like holidaylettings.com and vrbo.com allow you to contact the owners beforehand you commit which is very useful, and also have feedback on each property. The choice is absolutely enormous so it can take a while to narrow it down but we’ve had some fantastic places in Orlando, Kissimmee, Key Largo, Miami, Naples, Sarasota and (my favourite by a mile) Clearwater. Games rooms, bass fishing lakes, boat docks……you name it, all available. Never had anywhere less than excellent to be honest.

Near the parks, 3 bed 2 bath minimum.

Thanks

Choice is enormous……in particular there are loads of gated communities with really nice rental villas. We found Kissimmee a good choice….very easy drive (think it’s about 30 mins to Universal), loads of properties available.

This might be worth looking into:

https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/villa-search.php

It's a UK based forum which our own Bozza is also on.

Alternatively, I can recommend Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort - right in the middle of Disney and close to I4 for access to Seaworld and Universal. Big apartments with full kitchens and dining area in a hotel complex so space of a villa but with the amenties of a hotel. We rent through https://vacationupgrades.com/pricing.html - all done with a proper contract.

Definitely…..have rented properties on canals, backing on to man-made bass lakes and also with jetties into salt water. It became a key requirement for me :lolol::lolol: So easy to nip out for an hour or two when they’re all whacked after a day in the parks (or sleeping in the morning after) when the water is basically in your garden.

Be aware of the nut cases. There are so many in Florida, especially in the Orlando area. (fyi--UCF is Uni of Central Florida)

...although this is very few and far between. Weve been about a dozen times since 1999 and never had, or seen, any problems at all. Everyone weve met there over the years has been more than helpful and kind.
