It's taking the romance out of football but they have a recruitment process:
Get a manager good enough to get promoted, succeed, then sack him for better.
Get a manager good enough to stay up, succeed, then let him go for someone better.
If they improve it's an odd but possibly new way of approaching recruiting management. Of course who's to say the previous manager given the chance wouldn't do better?
