No pun from me but .... last time Mrs WS was between jobs she did a course to look after the B&H Council sheep. They are not called shepherds as you would expect instead they're called "lookers" .... no, me neither.

Objectification of women again :lolol:

You are probably right, but I thought it was "lookerers"?

I bet the Parks' staff couldn't believe it when they got to work this morning to find this garden wool to wool with sheep?

Can the OP be more specific - the thread title is a bit woolly.

I know, I'll get LAMBasted for that one.

I saw them.

And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day
I couldn't get away

Sheep with wings though. Horrific.

Not a modern 'PC' thing though - https://theromneymarsh.net/lookershuts

And "Dating back to the 1700’s, looker’s huts were built when the Romney Marsh was considered an unhealthy place to live, and civilisation was limited. Absentee landlords employed local men to tend their flocks. These men became known as lookers and are distinguished from shepherds by the fact that lookers cared for sheep of more than one owner, whereas a shepherd was employed by a single landowner."
