[Football] Flip throw-ins

As you all you Brightonese know, the club is a superpower when it comes to throw-ins these days. After the thrilling 22-20 win against Leicester in the weekend, Brighton are now third in the league.

But while the team is looking creative in most areas, there's just no flair in the throw-in game.

When was the last time any of you say a flip-throw?

This sexy style of throwing the ball is becoming extinct... but as we can see from the table above, Brighton have lots of opportunities to turn it around. If any player reads this, please make sure to revive this forgotten art form. I "want" (demand is more correct but don't want to be that guy) to see at least one flip-throw before the end of the season.

I miss a proper long throw specialist like Rory Delap, absolute chaos in the box when he launched one. Closest we ever got was probably Greg Halford, Bruno was rumoured to have a long throw on him but we never saw it, maybe that was actually the secret weapon of the never seen Saltor.

Intersting to see Arsenal and Newcastle down the bottom here, with West Ham flying high.

We saw it once or twice at the Amex, it was not Rory DeLap long, decent but not exceptional.

I had forgotten about that completely until you posted it. One of the highlights of an Albion game at the time (y)
