NZ boxing is not that flash, but then sonny bill williams is PR mans dream. Most of people play and worship rugby so there is not much hope for other sports. Funding for the olympic rugby 7's team for this year (even though they dont yet compete 2016 rio is when they start) was 800,000 dollars funding for boxing was 25,000 dollars so no wonder every other sport in NZ is pants.
