SSN saying Freddy is going to become a professional boxer. Is this old news?

I'd assume it's some naff publicity stunt, but he's apparently done well in training.

To be fair given one of the stories swann tells in his autobiography about him I wouldn't f*** with him. Mind you it was a few years back.

Do tell??

Just seen barry mcguigan give an interview on SSN. Seems as though this is all serious! Freddie has lost 27lbs and is training like a nut job to secure his boxing license! Just hilarious

Saw this on Sky Sports News app this morning. Fair play to the bloke. Obviously loves the sport so why not give it a crack? The worst that can happen is he gets KO\'d an gives up.

Or he could get brain damage or die. I'd say that's the worst that can happen! Unlikely.. But boxing has its risks.

I bet he has some punch on him though. It's his life, If that's what he wants to do then who are we to judge

Bit of a cross over trend happening here.

Adam Hollioake cricket to cage fighting.
Sonny Bill Williams All Black to NZ Heavyweight Champion

Maybe not such a crazy idea.

Definitely! He's a proper naughty northerner!!! Anyone watch a league of their own when he is getting stick from some little pikey shits when he was cycling? Brilliant viewing!

The team that flintoff has around him is a very good set-up. With friends in boxing and knowing how thorough the Mcguigan team are it might not be a bad idea. Boxers who make it have to be clean living so I doubt if Flintoff is serious he would be on the sauce like he used. If he creates excitement like he did when he was on fire at cricket, then he would be great to watch.
