It is rather ironic for a man who scored so many goals in the conference he couldnt score with a simple one on one with the keeper or a simple tap in. I wouldnt have thought the opposition or standard of the league would have made any difference in those circumstances.

He was pony. Glad he's gone. If we're going to continue hoofing it up (I can't see Adams suddenly changing his style drastically) we might as well sign big lads, which we've now done.

a pacey striker, who enjoys taking people on and creating chances down the channels as much as scoring himself was NEVER going to look good in a team that insist in hoofing a long ball forward

he would have looked good if he was playing off a recognised target man - but we just insisted in either shoving him out wide or letting him chase lost causes

was never going to fit into the way adams had us playing, and probably just as well he has gone. had he have been in a brighton team that played the ball on the ground though, he could have been a very dangerous player

good analysis.
the same could be said of Forster with the difference that experience has taught him to compensate

Sounds more like a winger than a forward to me

They were lost causes due to his reluctance to actually challenge for the ball, he would always move away and let the opponent win it even when he was favourite to.

He never looked committed fully to play for the club and was afraid to challenge for the ball, was it because he was on loan and unwilling to risk injury, seems more like a Paul Brooker type of player rather than a good striker.
