The most popular size of water bottle is 500ml. Which you can bring all the way to the Amex untampered. There, they will remove the top so the best strategy is to take the top off before you arrive (and store on your person) then re-apply once in your seat.
Not really much inconvenience on a day out.

they might ask for top....better to let them take top off and have another in pocket.

As us hardened East standers in the family stand know, the East is uncomfortably hot anytime the merest hint of the sun touches it. Today's gonna feel scorching with wall to wall sunshine predicted by the forecasters. So don't forget, especially those with several little ones, to bring along plenty of water bottles. Oh.....

Don't fear. 500ml of Barber Approved Non-Explosive Fluid will be available for £5.50 at all open kiosks!

Take 2 spare lids. Pop them in your bra and tell them they are a new line in nipple protectors:lolol:

Genius!

On entering the ground today, I was told that in future I'm no longer allowed to bring my kindle into the ground, when I asked why, as it's basically a book, I was told it's because I might record the game with it.

I'll use my phone for that if that's what I wanted to do.

That's not specifically on the list of what's excluded and sounds pretty illogical to me as phones tend to have better quality cameras. The list only refers to specialist cameras: https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/siteassets/201819-images/pdfs/amex-permissions.pdf

After the club did not specifically mention laptops or tablets as being specifically excluded or allowed, I expected that this would result in confusion. They just need to be clear so people actually know what the deal is. A lot of people at evening games come from work with laptops/tablets, but it's not actually clear as to whether that will be allowed from now on. Right now, I'm thinking that the person could have made a mistake.

Latest news is that wallets will be checked to ensure that all supporters have at least £30 in cash and a credit/debit card. Failure will result in non admittance, confiscation of your season ticket and 12 points on your licence.

So that's the inbound check.

The outbound check is to make sure you leave the ground without cash and if any is found it has to be left at the turnstiles or suffer -100 loyalty points.

I hope you're right about a mistake, it wasn't even a Kindle fire, just a simple e-book reader (paperwhite) - not a camera in sight.

West stand wall. The stewards ignored it but some guy in a suit did pick up on it after an hour and told the guy to hide it (rather than confiscate the top).
Thought the pre match bidy search was more thorough than usual - ooooh errrr missus!
