Harper's Island is a very good call. That is currently giving me sleeping problems on a Sunday nightIt's decent. It's no Harper's Island. That is brilliant.

I was enjoying it until "she" pointed out that there would be a large section of the population who would happen to be watching a sports channel or reading the racing results when the Flashforward happened so ALL the bookies and event organisers would abandon the meetings/matches..therefore the bloke wandering around the baseball stadium on CCTV would'nt have been there and literally thousands of folk would'nt be where they see themselves in their visions...so the whole flimsy fascade collapsed for me.

I'm obviously having a really thick day as I have read this four times and still dont understand. I dont understand why he wouldnt be there?
Eh? The baseball stadium bit (with the bloke wandering around) took place DURING the blackout, NOT in the future. I grant you that bookies etc may not be too keen on opening up on that future day on the grounds that a large swathe of the population may have already known the results - but maybe they they would open up with a sort of 'So you think you know the future?' promotion.I was enjoying it until "she" pointed out that there would be a large section of the population who would happen to be watching a sports channel or reading the racing results when the Flashforward happened so ALL the bookies and event organisers would abandon the meetings/matches..therefore the bloke wandering around the baseball stadium on CCTV would'nt have been there and literally thousands of folk would'nt be where they see themselves in their visions...so the whole flimsy fascade collapsed for me.
