I'm not sure it's that easy, there are a lot of other rules needed to be built in - infinite loop territory
Well, you'd have the most basic each team must play each other twice, once at home and once away. That's a doddle.
Then you factor in things like, if I were doing it, ensuring that teams with a great geographic distance between them play on a Saturday at 3pm. Teams from the same city can't play at home on the same day. Each teams away games are, as far as possible ,evenly split between Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Of course creating the actual fixture list is a behemoth of a task, taking in things like events in the city on any given day, policing resources, transport etc etc. but for an amateur (as in "for fun" rather than skill set) coder with a set of five rules or so I reckon it could be reasonably simple. And fun.
