what exactly is the point releasing this ahead of the fixtures list?

Has our Pride weekend game already been classified as away, in other words we wont get a home game that weekend to move to Monday. Or could we get a game and have to move it to Monday

Looks like they have moved midweek games to a WEDNESDAY!

The usual rules apply here whereby we must avoid a newly promoted club for the opening fixture.

It looks like we are going to be away so I hope it is Norwich. I fully expect Norwich to be the strongest of the relegated teams so will be a promotion rival. So playing them away first is a double bonus as we will have more chance to catch them before they get into a rhythm. Plus we can get arguably our toughest fixture of the campaign out of the way early...I mean, going to Carrow Road in the last few weeks of the season could see a damaging defeat, whereas losing in the first game gives us plenty of time to put it right.
