Who populates it now?

After a protracted process, we'll be moving into Fiveways next week, and I'd be grateful for recommendations from those with local knowledge. Here's what I do know, and my prejudices are:
-- Flour Pot: having lived 50 metres away from one, I'll now have to travel 150 metres or so, but enjoy their bourgeois bread. Not so keen on Ravens' more traditional style. It does seem that Tilt is popular though.
-- Quaff: decent independent, but nothing compared to Butlers, which is magisterial and was near my doorstep
-- Barfields: been there once, and seems highly rated. What of Choice Cuts?

What is Rustica like?
Fiveways Fruits?
Curry houses?
Other recommendations?

Where will you get your Kopi luwak from?

Edit paid 92 pound for my Christmas Turkey from them, it was average, Wicko’s at Hangleton are much better.

To be fair, the turkey we bought from Wickos this year was the worst I've ever had, as tough as old bootlaces. It was part of a Christmas hamper, but still no excuse for selling us something so utterly awful. Used to spend an extortionate amount of money on a five ways turkey, but was never let down by the quality. I think next year we'll plump somewhere in the middle and get a posh supermarket turkey.

It was part of a Christmas hamper, but still no excuse for selling us something so utterly awful. I saw a guy easily in his 50’s queuing outside Flower Pot up there in the bright white ones, I couldn’t help hoping he’d tread in dog shit on the way back to Lowther Road with his pumpkin seed bread and frothy coffee and then remembered a bunch of the Southdown Road community garden bods go out and pick up the turds and use on the garden!!!!

They don't use dog crap on the garden. They take the biodegradable poo bags to Stanmer and hang them from trees. Then go down to the horse field at the bottom and sort of do a swap with the manure.

I'd recommend Fiveways Fruits. As [MENTION=534]Chicken Run[/MENTION] said, avoid the Stanmer Park Tavern, Park View is ok if you don't mind queuing at the bar for ages to be served. My go to place would be The Cleveland, it's changed a lot over the years and is now quite nice.
