If they aren't the enemy then yes I would "spare a thought" for them... if they are then good riddance.

We should always spare a thought for those that die in war. Friendly, neutral or enemy.

What if there's users on NSC who've got relatives who've been killed by British troops? Spare a thought for them? or is it only the British who deserve the thought?

If they're on nsc, then they'd likely be in britain, if posts about our troops being killed, containing sympathetic messages upset them then I'd suggest Britain is the wrong place to live.

There are NSC users who live abroad and there are NSC users who've lost relatives to British Troops. It seems fine to call a solider who's deemed the 'enemy' a scumbag even after death whilst british troops are hailed heros for what?
Two wrongs don't make a right i'm afraid. I'd have a lot more respect for threads like these if the same users could show a bit more condolence for the Afghans dying too. Enemy or not.

i've been banned on here about 6 times for not following the "bbc / system / war hero (only british) " line........in this thread I expressed my opinions at blind nationalism..... and invoked some obviously violent people.....the mods have made it clear where they sit.

You and your other "tin foil hat" mates continue discussing who shot Kennedy and the first moon landing, personally I couldnt give a flying **** about your thoughts and as for having a discussion with you or any of the other "Tin Foil Hat" brigade I would rather take a blunt stanley knife to a certain sensitive thick part of my anotomy! yes.......my Brain!!!

Can you please explain why you think it is a stupid comment please? I found it strange to give respect to a human simply because they "followed orders and did their job" - and i gave an example to show how silly those sort of comments are. Why is that an issue?
