I don't normally bother with Curry Sauce other than just with chips at the footy but for those that do, please confirm you do not do anything STUPID like add Vinegar as well as Curry Sauce?

For me, normal fish and chips would be salt, vinegar, pepper and a bit of ketchup (sometimes mayo if i'm feeling like getting even fatter).

Chips out of a bag is simply salt and then vinegar
