Good advice Doug, I always get a selection pack of Harvey's bottled beers at Christmas, I like them all tbh.

A selection pack would be a good idea, always a chance of one that is palatable slipping in.

Vegster has condemned all Harveys products as bad, but I doubt that he has tried them all. We all have different tastes but to deride 20 odd products without tasting them all is like saying BMW's are awful because he once had an unreliable Mini. Personally although I prefer some beers to others, I wouldn't call any beer bad, nor would I put down a whole company constantly whether it be in fun or as a personal vendetta.

So what particularly can you find to like about Crystal Palace Plc ?

I admit I have never tried ALL Harvey's products, it's a little like Jasper Carrot said when performing using a 12 sting guitar " there's always a chance of one string being in tune " Trouble is, there is usually only the one string banjo from Harvey's. " Best "

Just as an update. We settled on Pelham House in Lewes. 2 nights for a very reasonable price and it looks very good on the website and in reviews.
Tickets for the game are booked as well in N1C so it's all sorted.

I think looking at Lewes has saved me a fair bit for parking and a trip to town is no hardship.

Thanks again for all the help :)
