Apparently DG's people were told by OB there was porn back in the day. So his claims it was all news to him were false. As he has been found out he has resigned. You lie, but when you are shown to have lied you do the thing. In another context it is called the honourable thing. Obviously not in this case.

So to recap:

Sir Michael Fallon, MP for Sevenoaks - Resigned from the cabinet.
Damian Green, MP for Ashford - Resigned from the cabinet.
Charlie Elphicke, MP for Dover - Suspended for 'serious allegations'
Craig Mackinlay, MP for South Thanet - Currently on unconditional bail awaiting trial next year charged with alleged offences under the Representation of the People Act 1983/Expenses fiddle.

The Conservative Party in The Garden of England seems to have some right wrong 'uns.

I have a friend from Ashford. But he's 'old labour'. And a bit of a tit, truth be told. So...if there is a pattern here I suspect it may be one like this :lolol::

Never trust a bloke from Ashford.

He did once profess undying love for my other half (of the time), while drunk at a Christmas party. Oh, and on another occasion he collapsed on and broke my coffee table. And it took me, his missus and and another person to drag him up my stairs to sleep it off. Big lad, but not hollow legs; that was after about two pints in my local (where he came close to getting me barred for his constant effing and jeffing).

Sometimes it is important to remind myself that, although I live in Kent, I am from Sussex. Sussex. Not Kent. Sussex. :lolol:

I know Kent very well. It's sort of why I chose this username - years back I worked in an office in Kent and there was some good Kent v Sussex banter between me and them (You're from Hastings it's a dump, You lived in Brighton you must be gay v You're from Kent so you sleep with your sister who's really your Mum etc) There's some b*****ks depending on where you're born in Kent in relation to The River Medway that allows you to refer to yourself as either a Kentish Man or A Man Of Kent - so obviously coming from Sussex I was neither and I couldn't refer to myself as a Sussexish Man as it doesn't sound right, so whenever that conversation came up at work I stated I was a Man Of Sussex and therefore not into incest etc and therefore better than all of them. :lolol:
