Quite. People need to start realising there is no such thing as gay or straight marriage anymore. It's all one and the same. If a gay person parks in a car parking space, it's not a gay parking space.
It probably is a bit gay.

The wedding's at the pavilion right? Happy days, got married there many moons ago.

I'm not having a gay parking in my space or licking my ice cream, since the greens got in and the immigrants started to interfere with pussy flaps its hit rock bottoms! Its not like the good old 70's WHEN THE SUN SHONE ALL SUMMER THE ALBION WON EVERY WEEK AND YOU COULD HAVE A CRACKING NIGHT ON A FIVER!:moo:

There's a thing on Ch.4 at 10 tonight about this. Stephen Fry hosting. Should be good!

Congratulations to the happy couple.

Hope he clarifies his stance on the World Cup Twenty20 situation.

On the one hand he advocated a ban on Russiahosting the Olympics citing their harsh treatment of LGBT people, writing open letters to the IOC, Cameron and weeping on the TV.............comparing Putin to Hitler.

However not a peep from him about Bangladesh which is hosting the cricket, yet its treatment of its LGBT minoroty is arguably worse than Russia.

Strange man..............

If you are not religious whether gay or straight any church wedding is a sham. So it’s one thing having a religious marriage if you share a belief in God, but it’s another if it is just for the purpose of the glitz and glamour of it or just because you can.

I don’t think churches should be obliged to marry gay couples but where they are happy to do so I guess there is no problem. However as I said couples who do not truly have a faith and are not members of, or attend a church should not get married in one.

I am interested to see how a gay wedding would work, obviously a lot of the traditions are out of the window. Two grooms/brides for a start, or maybe sometimes you'll get the more effeminate one going as a bride?

Can you imagine the arguments when choosing a best man, or best men? Surely they would be marrying the best man, and the best man is really a second best man

agreed- I'm getting married at the church that me and my fiancee regularly attend in September. There were about 4 saturdays free in the entire year for weddings, with the vast majority of those getting married throughout the year being people who have barely set foot in the church. Why do non-christians want to get married in a church?!

I'm sorry but Tutti Frutti ice creams are a bit gay.

I expect there'll be the usual smutty innuendo and schoolboy humour, simply because a couple of gay fellas want to celebrate their love by taking each other up the aisle in front of their family and friends.

I am one of the 20% of the population who would decline to attend a gay wedding, according to the BBC's report.

Marriage is as old as civilisation and between a man and woman to create a family, it does society no good to call this a marriage....

But I know I am in a minority and don't expect others to agree .

I've just watched these guys on the tv. Top blokes, been together a long time and seem really happy. And they seem to have a good sense of humour too....fairy cakes ? I can't help thinking they put them out deliberately. :lolol:
