My first gig was in the BIG APPLE in brighton, back in the very early 70s, cant remember if it was "T REX" or "GINGER BAKER" was one of them anyway :p saw so many gigs there, years on they all roll into one, (if you know what i mean :smokin: ) it seemed we went there every week, im sure that wasnt the case really, what great times :clap2: :drink:

I heard a Strawbs concert on the radio about ten years ago and I couldn't believe it was them - it was very excellent.

They judged a "Battle ot the Bands" and we missed our last train home. Fantastic times to a 15 year old, and the venue was the Lido, just dilapidated.

Actually it was excellent.

Not quite in the same class as Roxy Music and Genesis at the dome in the seventies. I think I saw Curved Air, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin as well, but I can't remember in what order. And Family cancelled for some reason.

I also saw Mud!! (Hangs head in shame!!!)

On NSC for over two decades...
Do you know, I can't remember. Although I do remember my Mum dragged my sister and I along to see the Spinners when we were on holiday in Eastbourne when I was quite young.
