All we know is that it will be that weekend. We can't know which day until after the play-offs and they know who's in the division, plus which games the TV want. If it is on the Sun, the I guess it's on TV, but unless we're playing a relegated team, I don't think that will happen.

Ooooh how exciting.

Everyone trying to work out how to get to the stadium, how to find their seat and then, and just to cap it all, we have to suffer Sunday travel arrangements. Which will mean very few trains (at the moment Brighton to Falmer on a Sunday is one every half hour........) and I'll bet it is only 4 carriages!!!!!

That's if the trains are running at all, probably be engineering works that day.

I hope the person sat next to me will not mind me keeping tabs on the Arse score.

As it is on a Sunday is it OK for me to wear my Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal (whoever looks like being the best next season) shirt to the game?

As there are no Premier League games this week it looks like this will be the midday kick off game on Sunday unless of course the BBC get to show the game at 5.20 on Saturday.

There will be around about four live games over the weekend, no Premiership so there is a high chance it could be ours. Sky kicked off last year with a Friday night game, a 12.45pm game on Saturday, 1.00pm on Sunday, and the BBC had the Saturday 5.20 live game - all from the Championship

Seem to recall that last August the first live TV match in the Championship featured the newly promoted Champions from League 1 (Norwich).
It was Sky's opening game for their coverage of the current season and was moved to the Friday night - so preceded all of the other opening league matches.

Norwich lost this match at home (v Watford) and played really poorly - but note it didn't do them any harm in the end...

So with The Seagulls being the newly promoted League 1 Champions there must be a good chance that we will be live for the first (or one of the first) TV games next season, especially if the fixtures throw up something juicy.....and extra-especially if it's at The Amex.

A win in the first league game at The Amex, and shown live on TV sounds pretty good.

sunday will mean the post match knees up that many will have planned will be a bit of a let down!

seriously though its surely a mistake as no manager would have a clue about their clubs first game details at the start of bloody may!!!

But it is the first game at The Amex and shirley the untried travel plans will dictate that the game will be played at 3pm on the Saturday? Or am i not taking into account Sky/BBC/ ITV's massive influence?
