If there is an OG does this mean that the first goal afterwards is in fact the first goal for the purposes of the bet? Bonus!

£17 is correct if your selection was placed but didn't win @ 1/5 odds for a place .

If your selection won you should of collected £62

Just checked, it was placed 2nd (cailin na ri, 3 o clock at sedgefield). Got to admit i stopped watching after the race and it didnt even look close! Commentator had called the result as well.

Never bet on 0-0, you'll get a better price for "no goalscorer" and should the game then finish 1-0 either way because of an own goal, you get paid out.
