One for the statisticians/historians (albeit not distant history) maybe...

I'm trying to pin down my first ever Albion game. The match was a 1-1 draw with Hartlepool at the Goldstone in the early 90s. A search of the ever-useful Soccerbase though says there were two - one on 24th Oct 1992, and another 10 months later on 21st Aug 1993. I have no idea which one I went as a young 10 or 11 year old lad...

Sadly the only other details I can remember are that Steve Foster scored our goal (I think) and that there was a missed penalty in the game.

Anyone out there with a perfect memory, or (more likely) an idea of a better site I can use that goes back with match stats/report that far?

(Or it could turn into a when was your first game thread - but I'm sure that's probably already been done...)

Martin Hodge saved a penalty its the one in 1993. Also I think they were down to 10 men?

The 1993 one was my first ever game, I believe Andy Kennedy scored for us.
