Exactly this. If the Australian media are bleating about the run rate (which some of them were after day one) then it's because their bowlers haven't done as well as they'd expected them to, and England are getting to them. Put it this way, if England had been 196/8 at the close (instead of four), they wouldn't have been whining about slow scoring
