Our survival in the Premier League this season means we are now guaranteed our longest ever stay in the top 2 divisions. Previous record was 10 (1977 - 1987). We are currently at 9 seasons (since 2011) with another 2 seasons in the top two flights guaranteed (barring a global disaster like a pandemic).
Most of our current spell coincides with the chairmanship of Tony Bloom and he has brought success to the club but perhaps more importantly he has ensured the club is built on solid foundations (stadium, academy, youth policy etc).
This is in contrast to our previous longest spell which appears to have been bought at a cost we could not sustain.
We have made giant strides over the last 10 years in all aspects of the club and the next 10 years hold fantastic promise.
