Many happy summer days sitting watching the cricket on the green with my parents. My dad was a dog handler in the police and they used to do a lot of their training around firle and got to know George and Mary from thr Ram Inn very well (i do believe she has since died)

I went out with a girl from Firle many years ago...Samantha Bridge....ring any bells Lord B ?

Lovely people. Mary died a few years back. George is still living in the village.

There's a book on the history of the Ram, by Andrew Lusted. Well worth a read.
