CHANGING rooms at a football ground have gone up in flames.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended Shoreham Football Club in Middle Road, at 6.04pm, today after flames were seen coming from the roof of the single-storey building. The blaze also destroyed a filing cabinet inside the building. Firefighters spent more than three hours at the scene.
The fire means Tuesday's Sussex County League Division Two final between Peacehaven and Littlehampton has been moved to Worthing United at the Robert Albon Memorial Ground, in Lyons Way, Worthing. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
