Turkish Delights were shit. Fact.

As a kid getting the Turkish delight in a box of chocolates shared around the family was the best thing ever

But, as an adult (for the last XX years) I very rarely buy them. Maybe once every 3-5 years, but when I do, 55 years disappear just like that
