this is obviously a great app but i have seen a side of it where it has found my IPHONE for someone else and now they think i have their phone.

i have called T-moble and they have stated that i have got the phone which they provided me with at the start of my contract. I am getting hate messages from this guy saying he's coming to get his phone and that i will give it to him when he arrives... he also keeps reseting it, this means i have to reset the bloody thing.

anyone had this issue before, if so what did you do and if anyone has any advice on what i should do ow it would be appreciated.

Invite him to meet you somewhere public to talk about it like adults. Then kindly inform him that this is the phone you were provided by t-mobile at the start of your contract and that any threats to your personal safety will be recorded and the authorities notified.

I would start by changing my Apple ID password. I guess he must have hacked it!

i can't contact him, he writes a message then resets my phone. He doesn't sound happy

Find my iPhone is an app.

In order for this person to send you a message and reset the phone, they must be logged in with the same Apple ID as the one your phone is configured with.

If this is your account, it has been compromised.

I'd do that if I knew someone with the app and their password!! Hours of fun! I've just downloaded an app onto mine and my mrs phone which simulates screen damage. Mrs Worthingite nearly shat herself when she saw her phone this morning

i've done it to my dad's iphone, he phoned me up asking if he had downloaded a virus
