vBulletin is widely acknowledged as the best board software there is. The best that money can buy, in fact. Most of them are free - this isn't.

The board is about as stable as they come due to charging for their software resource can be spent on product development and support.

We've been discussing that topic for years. Simple fact is, with one board we can talk about anything and everything, instead of constantly moving between forums, which is stupid with such a busy place like NSC.

Cost. If Bozza has a standard 'perpetual' licence for 2.x, he'll have to buy another for 3.5 - around $180

If he has the full licence, the upgrade can take "a while". Boards.ie just went from 3.0.x to 3.5 and that took a full day
