Presumably it is by far the "best" ground in the UK and one of the best in the world. If it could be filled with proper, noisy, Tottenham fans then it would be unbelievable in there. The obvious danger is it will actually have an atmosphere like The Emirates.

Unfortunately whenever li'l ole Brighton & Hove Albion head to one of the big boys, the atmosphere is always going to be somewhat muted.

Spurs ground will be great when its finally finished (presumably some time in the new year). But when it comes to stadium design, the ones going up in the USA these days are leaps and bounds ahead of stadiums like theirs imo.

I went to the Superbowl Final this year at the US Bank Stadium. Incredible place. Really.

Obviously I've not been inside the new Tottingham Stadium, but driving past it looks impressive.

I always smile when driving back to Eastbourne after coming down the M23 as I pass our ground though. I do confess that most times, if the car is empty, I let out a little 'AAAAAlbi-ooooon, AAAAAlll-bi-y-onnnn' to myself

Likewise. If I ever find myself somewhere around the southern states I'd love to take in a game there, or just pay a visit and gawp.

I love a bit of stadium porn, me. Spurs ground looks very "meh" in comparison.

Agreed. To me it looks how West Ham wish the London Stadium should have been. Big home end, close, tight and steep stands all helping to retain that intimate WHL type feel - within the confines of modern health and safety regs re minimum distances etc.

That was my one wish for the Amex that we haven’t quite got right. The rake of the lower tiers should have been steeper to make it feel like the crowd are on-top of you as a visiting player.

I love Rotherham’s New York Stadium for this reason.

As this thread has now diversified into other stadiums, I was driving on the M4 into London yesterday and noticed Brentford's new ground has started appearing out of the ground.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The old White Hart Lane stadium, with terraces, was a fantastic stadium. This new bowl with tapas bars and cheese tunnels, or whatever looks sterile by comparison.

Fairly obvious I'd have thought. They'll be going from 36,000 to 62,000 capacity, along with the plethora of corporate money-generating facilities built in. It might not be what we, as older fans would want to see, but its the way the game is going. All about the money innit. And the majority of fans do seem rightly excited about it.
