People saying that they wanted Villa to go down because they will improve next year have been underestimating how bad they have been. Saved by a technical error, but also by Palace and Arsenal's can't be bothered performances against them. They need to make radical changes quickly. Dean Smith seems a decent bloke, but completely out of his depth. They are awful at defending and going forward rely on Grealish far too heavily. Definite favourites to go down next season. (but then so were we this time last year)

Luckily WFH tomorrow as we are last in order yet again but I'm staying up to watch both of our wonder goals plus listening to Wyche whinging.

Man, De Bruyne has 2 goals nominated for goal of the season. Both incredible.

Love AJ and would like him to play more for us.. but have to say KDB deserves to win.

Stuff him, how many things does he want to win? How many more opportunities is Alireza ever going to get to win something like this? Come on you 80,000,000 Iranians. Now is your moment.

Lol 3 goals, mad VAR and we’re still last

It would be amusing if the Brighton player who wins goal of the season is a bloke who can’t even get on the bench most weeks.

#TeamslikeBrighton

And also #teamslikeBurnley.

To be fair, there were 4 games that meant nothing today. City and Liverpool were always going to precede us, so it was a toss up between our game and Southampton Sheffield Utd. Their game has one more goal, so we're last.

...and Ings had an outside chance of the Golden Boot, or a tie of it.

Doesn’t matter that we’re last up. Our goals are still going to look gorgeous.

I didn’t watch the game live but just seen the highlights and they said, they’re just checking if the ball was out of play for the Connolly goal. When this happened on the game against Man United, they said it wasn’t in VAR’s remit to check. So found it strange the MOTD commentator said it was being checked. Was it reviewed during the game ?
