The dull part of the south coast
Anyone watched the Talking Pictures channel, where they show a lot of old British 'B' movies? A couple recently have been filmed in and around Brighton - nostalgic times eh?

P.S. The film in Brighton (not Brighton Rock) was called Smokescreen, starring Peter Vaughan, and filmed in 1964. Nice scene at Hellingly station with Derek Guyler.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I'm in the Jaws club, certainly. But, when pondering for a few seconds, I seem to be a member of the Renny Harlin fanclub. If I'm drifting past Channel 5 or ITV 4, then I will contentedly go through The Long Kiss Goodnight, Cliffhanger and Deep Blue Sea. Of an afternoon, i'll even watch Cutthroat Island.
Also, anything with Kurt Russell.

Airplane and any of the three Naked Gun movies, i must have seen them over 20 times, will never tire of them.

Absolute gems of films where I always seem to see/hear/notice something new each time I watch. So multilayered was the writing.

In my insomniac state last night forgot to add:

Gladiator
Bladerunner
Blade
Zulu
Star Wars (episodes IV, V and VI clearly)
Gremlins
