i PERSONALLY wouldn't class any film that is part of a trilogy a sequel
I'd say that it depends on whether it set out to be a trilogy or whether it just happened that three films were made, and I don't think there are many trilogies like that about. In fact the only one I can think of is Lord Of The Rings. I suppose Star Wars, since it pretty much tells one story even though Lucas blatantly made it up as he went along.i PERSONALLY wouldn't class any film that is part of a trilogy a sequel
BUT THAT'S JUST ME AND MY PEDANTRY
I have never seen or have any intention of seeing Star Wars. Is there something wrong with me for having absolutely no interest in this genre of movie, despite the fact that just about very TD and H on the planet has seen at least one of them
Bit like me and the Godfather trilogy - I watched about twenty minutes of the first one and was so bored I switched it off and have never been back.
Blade II
The Bourne Supremacy
The Mummy Returns
The Two Towers
The Empire Strikes Back
Desperado
Terminator 2
Pretty much every comic book movie where they spent half the first movie explaining their franchise.
